GENERAL DISMISSAL PROCEDURES
Car Riders: Students who are picked up in a vehicle MUST be picked up from the loop in front of the school. Please stay in your cars at ALL times. Students will be taken to your car. Parents will not be permitted to pick up students at the door.
WALKERS: Students will be walked to the front gate by grade level teachers and dismissed to approved individuals. Parents cannot pick up students from the main entrance if they are walkers.
Bus Riders: Students who are picked up by buses (MDCPS and Private) will be picked up from the bus loop on the east side of the building.
RAINY-DAY PROCEDURES
Car Riders: We will continue to dismiss car riders at the front of the school through the drive-thru loop. Students will be taken to your car under an umbrella. Please be patient as dismissal will take a little longer in the rain.
Walkers:
On rainy days ONLY, walkers will be dismissed from the PE Shed to provide students with adequate cover from the rain. (PK-1st will only go to the PE Shed on Wednesdays) Parents will enter and exit through the west side gate to retrieve their child. Parking in the Faculty/Staff lot is prohibited. Students noted as walkers cannot be picked up in the car rider line as they will be in the PE Shed.
1:50 Dismissal (PK-1st Grade): On Rainy Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays (when PK-1st are dismissed at a separate time) walkers will be in the main school entrance in the same area as car riders. Parents will approach the main door to pick up their students.
Wednesdays (all grades): On Rainy Days, PK-2 walkers will be in the PE Shed along with older students.
3:05 Dismissal (2nd – 5th Grade): On Rainy Days, walkers will always be in the PE Shed.
Bus Riders: Dismissal will be the same on rainy days as it is on regular days.
It is extremely important to keep ONE dismissal method. Students will always be taken to the original location designated by the parent. Dismissal methods must remain constant for the safety of our students.
If you need to change your dismissal designation, please submit the attached form to your child’s teacher.

PROCEDIMIENTOS GENERALES PARA LA SALIDA ESCOLAR
Recogida en auto: Los estudiantes que son recogidos en automóvil DEBEN ser recogidos en el circuito frente a la escuela. Por favor permanezcan en sus autos en TODO momento. Los estudiantes serán llevados a su automóvil. A los padres no se le permitirá recoger a los estudiantes en la puerta.
Caminantes: Los maestros de cada grado acompañaran a los estudiantes que CAMINAN hasta la puerta principal y los entregaran a personas autorizadas. Los padres NO pueden recoger a los estudiantes en la entrada principal si caminan.
Autobús: Los estudiantes que van a casa en autobús (MDCPS y privados) saldrán de la escuela por la salida este.
PROCEDIMIENTOS PARA DÍAS DE LLUVIA
Recogida en auto: Continuaremos despidiendo a los estudiantes que viajan en automóvil por el frente de la escuela a través del circuito de autoservicio. Tengan paciencia ya que la salida tardará un poco más bajo la lluvia.
Caminantes:
SÓLO en días lluviosos, los caminantes saldrán del cobertizo de educación física. Entre y salga por la puerta en el lado oeste de la puerta para recoger a su hijo. Está prohibido estacionar en el estacionamiento de los maestros. Los estudiantes que están registrados como caminantes no pueden ser recogidos en la fila de automóvil porque ellos(as) van a ser enviados al área de educación física.
Salida de 1:50 (PK – Primer Grado): Los lunes, martes, jueves, y viernes con lluvia (cuando estos grados salen separados) los niños que caminan estarán en la entrada principal junto a los niños que montan automóvil. Los padres podrán venir a la puerta principal para recogerlos.
Miércoles (todos los grados): PK-2 estarán en el cobertizo de educación física junto a los estudiantes de los grados mayores.
Salida de 3:05 (2do-5to Grado): Los estudiantes estarán en el cobertizo de educación física todos los días de lluvia.
Autobús: Los estudiantes saldrán de la escuela en la misma forma que los días regulares.
Es extremadamente importante mantener UN solo método de despido. Los estudiantes serán llevados al lugar original designado por los padres. Tener un método consistente de salida mantiene es importante para mantener la seguridad de nuestros estudiantes.
Si necesita cambiar su designación de despido, envíe el formulario adjunto a esta notificación al maestro de su hijo(a).
